Terms of Service

The App is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the App, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

ApproachPal provides self-guided coaching content, practice exercises, and progress tracking intended to help you build social and dating confidence. It is a self-improvement and educational tool.

Some features of the App (like the "Approach" practice challenges) encourage you to interact with people in real life. You are solely responsible for your own conduct, safety, and decisions when doing so. You agree to:

• Use good judgment and respect others' boundaries and consent at all times.
• Comply with all applicable laws in your interactions.
• Never use the App's content to harass, pressure, or make anyone uncomfortable.

We are not responsible for the outcome of any real-world interaction you choose to have, or for any harm, injury, or dispute arising from it.

ApproachPal does not require you to create an account. Any profile information you enter (like a display name) is optional and stored locally on your device — see our Privacy Policy for details.

• Certain features of the App require a paid subscription, billed through your Apple ID / App Store account.
• Prices are shown in the App before you purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account settings — we don't have the ability to cancel it for you.
• Payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must go through Apple, in accordance with Apple's own refund policies — we're not able to issue refunds directly.

Any notes, logs, or entries you create in the App belong to you. Since this data is stored only on your device, we don't have access to it, host it, or claim any ownership over it.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's backend services.

The App, including its content, design, and coaching material, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that using it will lead to any particular outcome or result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including damages related to real-world interactions undertaken as part of using the App.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or discontinue the App or any of its features at our discretion.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where superseded by Apple's own terms for App Store transactions.
